strange effects for a pedalboard

hi
you know the chorus pedal
the flanger, the phaser

good, but have you something like
a slicer
a arpeggiator
?

i think the eventide H9 is a little box and we can find a slicer inside ?
the pitchfactor for sure
and maybe arpeggiator but it's really expensive

so, there is the Boss slicer
EarthQuaker Devices Arpanoid

have you a strange sound in your pedals and in your pedalboard ?

Re: strange effects for a pedalboard

I don't use it very often, but I have a Boss SYB-3. It's pure monophonic analog synth- made for bass, but I only run my guitar through it.

Re: strange effects for a pedalboard

MXR Blue Box is as weird as mine gets... But I have a bunch of Devi Ever fuzzboxes, even if they're "just fuzz" ;)

Re: strange effects for a pedalboard

what i like now is

the arpeggiator > eventide H9, pitch factor, zoom ms 50g, arpanoid

the slicer > boss slicer, zoom ms 50g, boss dd 500 for patterns too

the step phaser >boss phaser, Marshall regenerator , zoom ms 50g

but for a better product, eventide H9 or pitch factor: i would like to have these ones :)

but i have fun with the Marshall step phaser : that's what i like the most with the slicer

in the zoom ms 50g too

i have not the Boss model

when you make a chord, it's automatic

no
i prefer the slicer
arpeggiator + synth
i have the gp 10 but not in my pedalboard

i have not the gr 55 yet
it would be complicated to add this so my pedalboard ?

Re: strange effects for a pedalboard

Lots of weird little goodies in the Zoom MS-50G.

Re: strange effects for a pedalboard

Giant reverbs going into pitch transposers, 100% wet signal, and a looper. Fun for hours.

Re: strange effects for a pedalboard

the zoom 50G is fantastic
pitch delay
wrap phaser
12 stages phaser
duet phaser
reverse phaser

slicer

but what did you expect ? lol
not true bypass for me
not analog sounds
a little bit cold and metallic about the sound

if you can do with that, it's a good pedal
if you want more

if you prefer the good other sounds of boss, eventide, mxr, ehx
no problem too :)

Re: strange effects for a pedalboard

Nothing beats the Eartquaker Rainbow Machine for weirdness IMO:

It sounds disturbing and uncomfortable.

Re: strange effects for a pedalboard

My favorite head turning pedals are the Strymon Lex Leslie simulator, and the Boss Multi Overtone that turns your guitar into a Jamaican steel drum. Those two pedals will draw instant attention from anyone who hears them. Guitar players will run to your pedalboard to see what just happened.
