strange feedback coming from inside head???

super confused on this one
im guessing with enough signal coming out of my board, if i put my guitar close to my tube head i can hear feedback from inside the amp??
the feedback is not coming from the speaker.
i have the tubemeister18 in no speaker mode hooked up through di into a usb box
when i have the usb box turned down i can hear feedback from inside the amp.
it goes away if i start playing
any help?
is my head in need of repairs?

My guess is the Power Soak uses an actual speaker driver (without a cone) to absorb the signal naturally and provide proper response, similar to a Weber MASS.

To find out for sure, I would contact H&K support directly and ask why you are hearing your sound even at 0 watt on the Power Soak.

It's something I've learned to live with. I blame it on the @cid. Concerning the voices, as long as they're not instructing me to kill people I figure they're harmless.
