I'm having trouble identifying a pickup i found. It's a a red and black Seymour Duncan humbucker, rated about 6.0k. It's 4 conductor, and it has 11 pole pieces on each coil. It's also worht mentioning that it dosn't have cloth covering the wire wrap of it. I got it for free in a deal I made, but i have been unsucessfull in identifying it. It looks fairly old, 80's or early 90's. If anyone has any information, please share

Re: Strange Humbucker

Are you sure its not 12 pole pieces - as in one of the Parallel Axis series?

Re: Strange Humbucker

That looks to me like a carvin. I had a set like that but it was black. Not a duncan.

Ah, I just checked their website, and yea it definetly foes look like one of their pickups. I thought it was an SD beacuse it came in an SD box and the bottom of the pickup has "SD" written on it in black marker. Thanks for the help. You wouldn't happen to knwo what model would you?
