Strange Texas Hot resistance readings?

I had read online that the resistance of SD Texas Hots are 6.3K in the neck and middle position and 9K in the bridge.

Today I played my Strat with 5.5K enamel wire pickups, and then I played my friends Edwards SRV Strat which supposedly came stock with SD Texas Hot antiquity pickups in it.

The neck and middle pickups are still in it, but my friend replaced the bridge pickup with a SD little 59 pickup. Prior to playing the Edwards SRV guitar I thought the bridge pickup would be significantly louder than the other two pickups. How wrong I was, the volume of the neck pickup was louder than bridge pickup.

The difference in volume between my guitar and the Edwards Strat was huge, the Texas Hot pickups and Little 59 were humbucking pickup loud, I was amazed.

As I was curious I to measure the resistance of these pickups with my Fluke 77meter. I plugged an effects lead into the jack on the Edwards SRV guitar and measure the resistance. The neck and middle pickups measured 12.3K!

I thought something must be wrong with the measurement that I took. I measured my guitar which measured fine and my son’s EVH guitar which measured 13K. The Little 59 in the bridge position measured 11K as expected.

My friend tells me he measured the SD Texas Hot bridge pickup which he removed to put the little 59 in the guitar and it measured 13K!!

I don’t know much about the Seymour Duncan antiquity pickups that were fitted to Edwards SRV guitars, does anyone know why this pickups have such high resistance?
I wonder if the pickups in the guitar aren't SD antiquities, if there was an earlier spec for these pickups?

Thanks for your time and patience.

An Edwards SRV guitar was sold on Reverb as hosting 3 Duncan SSL5's and it makes sense in this case (DCR being slightly lower for the pickup with pots than for the pickup alone, as expected).

Great spotting, I just looked at two different ads and they both stated that they come with SSL-5 pickups.

Thanks so much for your assistance.
