So long story short I bought a prs se tremonti guitar and swapped out p/u's and all the electronics. I installed a set of p/u's and electronics I had in my Edwards lp into the prs. and did modern wiring to it, the same as it was in the Edwards.
So there's two strange things happening with the prs. First the neck p/u is nowhere as loud as it was in the Edwards. When I switched the p/u's I did swap out an A3 mag and put in an A4 mag in the neck p/u.
Second thing that I notice is when in the middle position and I roll down either the bridge or neck volume down to 7 or 5 the volume drops as it should but when I roll down the other volume the volume will get louder when at the same level and then quieter as I continue to turn down the volume. Everything seems to be working as is should except for those two things.
The only thing that I did differently in the wiring was I ran the tone cap between the volume outer lug and the tone outer lug instead of running the cap between the tone center lug and ground.
