Strat bridge HB: options ?

Hi dudes...

here's the strat I'm going to buy real soon ....

strat3.jpg

... for ~ 280$ :fing25::cool3: :bigok:

I'll put a Hotstack-Neck, ClassicStack-Middle.... but I don't know what to throw in for the bridge... I'm planning on playing only hard rock/metal with this axe... mainly some Maiden and co.

Any idea ? I was thinking a Custom Custom...

Well I think any of the "usual suspects" would be great depending on tone preferences and your setup: Custom, CC, C5, 59B, SD.

Hey dudes!

My turn to need your help and ask questions... as I'm not that familiar with high-output HB's :welcome: :newbie:

The Strat is almost mine :fingersx: and I'm seriously looking for a HB. I'm lending toward the CC and Dist, but I'm afraid the CC might be too sweet... and I like the Dist, it has great harmonics and good chunk/attack.

I'll be into IronMaiden tunes with that axe, FYI, they used SuperDist in the 80's. Lots of harmonics and a rather bright sound.

So, any opinion ?

P.S I love those new smilies :banana: <- rather stupid huh?

id gor for the tb6 distortion although any of the pups mentioned would work fine with those neck and middle pups.
the duncan distortion does 80's metal as good as anything, especially thru a marshall

IMO, you have to be careful with a bridge humbucker in a Strat if your going to use lower output Strat type neck and middle pickups or the bridge humbucker will be way to loud. My favorite is the 59 Trembucker...that's the one I use and recommend for a Strat.

Hm.. I'll load the neck slot with a HotRails-neck. That should be hot enough... ;) and the middle position with a ClassicStack.

I dont think the '59 TB would be a good choice for what I'm looking for...
