Definitely. I also hear some early EVH, as odd as that may sound.

I was playing Vh1 last night with my twangbanger equipped strat. Yep, the early VH tone is there, with just a bit of twang. Interestingly, the EVH/78 custom shop pickup, when played clean, reminds me a bit of a Telecaster.

your going to have to melt the wax and push the baseplate back up into the bottom of the pickup......it must have been moved loose and thats whats causing the feedback......wait for Lew to see this, he'll tell ya exactly how to reapply the plate

I potted the pickup and it's solved the problem.
