It's bright as hell. When you hook it to a tone knob and you roll the tone knob off a little (or a lot) you can get some good tones.

gibson made a pickup that ran from near the neck on the bass strings all the way to strat's treble spot. Pretty wild, but same concept - bassier bass strings, treblier treble strings.
