Strat Ergonomics

Just something about how your hand just settles in around the headstock of a strat. Very rounded and smooth. The V-neck thing helps that feeling out a bit.

Re: Strat Ergonomics

Damn that camera made my hand look red/pink. Oh wait, I am red/pink. I am truly a white guy.

Re: Strat Ergonomics

I dont know about red/pink, but it looks huge (your hand I mean....)

I like strat ergonomics a lot, but not Squier strats - they feel weird, especially the body contour at the arm rest.

Re: Strat Ergonomics

I really want to try out a guitar that has a V neck profile. I've been paying a lot of attention to how my fretting hand grips the neck lately and I have a feeling I'd find it really comfortable.

Re: Strat Ergonomics

The Strat was a major step forward in terms of ergonomics that really wasn't surpassed until the Ibanez and Yamaha RG series.

Re: Strat Ergonomics

Gorblimey, guv'nor! Would you Adam 'n' Eve it? A musical instrument that is shaped to suit the human hand.

Whatever next?

Re: Strat Ergonomics

You look to be in need of this. ;)

Thats a bear paw right there!

Re: Strat Ergonomics

ah, but ergonomic-wise Strats have nothing on a Steinberger or a Klein. In fact, if guitars were built from purely an ergonomic standpoint, most guitarists wouldn't play them. Check out the Ergonomic Guitar site here.
