Strat HSS humbucker / configuration question

I have a Fender Mexi-Strat with HSS pickup configuration. I want to install a Stag Mag humbucker in the bridge position, with a coil splitter switch. My question is this: When the humbucker coil is split, will the split pickup cancel the hum like a single coil in the bridge would do?

Does Seymour Duncan (or anybody) make a calibrated set for HSS Stratocasters?

Probably depends which coil you leave on when the pickup is split. You want the coil that is the opposite magnetic polarity of the middle pickup. But that won't guarantee that you'll have humcancelling unless that coil is also reverse wound. You'll have to try it and see. It's hard to predict these things when you mix the pickups from two diferant manufacturers. Lew
