Strat parts FS

FretFire

Well, I'm going to test the waters here and see what kind of interest this generates. I'm tossing around the idea of converting my strat to an H-H setup guitar, which calls for a new body and hardware so I'm selling off the potentially unused parts first. All prices include shipping in the lower 48, I accept Paypal and USPS money orders. I'll get pics of everything up by this evening. Here goes:

Pickups: Duncan Twangbanger and middle (RW/RP) staggered Alnico II Pro singles. They are in excellent shape, though the middle pickup's ground wire is cut pretty short (1-2" or so) but can easily be extended. The Twangbanger's leads are about 6-7" long. I'm thinking $50 for the TB, $40 for the APS, $80 for both. I can toss in the white covers if you want 'em.

Pickguard: Three layer (white/black/pearl) pickguard. It has copper foil on the back and currently holds a 250k solid shaft blend pot and a 5-way switch. I'd prefer to sell it this way, but I will definitely consider selling just the guard. How about $25?

Just a few to start off with, if you want to see anything specific just ask for it.

Interested in selling the Callaham parts at all?.

I'd like to sell them (mount screws and trem block) with the body if at all possible. If I get no takers after a bit of time I'll consider splitting them up.

Re: Strat parts FS

Dude, you just dont want to route the body for HH and re-shield it? Odie can help!!!!

Roger that one! You've already got some nice upgrades on that guitar! I'd be keeping it and have Theodie do the mods....

Re: Strat parts FS

I suggested something similar, but I believe our friend FretFire aka freaky hands want's to change body woods as well.

Very true, I'm considering that (not a definite requirement at this point however). Also, I need to keep in mind that the hummers I want to use aren't standard size and will require either a custom guard or the special mounting rings they came with (Lawrence L-500R and C).

Hope on AIM if you're not already.

Also, there's a deal pending on the neck APS... (pickups are still definitely for sale if nothing else :laugh2: )

I'm just waiting to hear back about the pickguard. In reality, I should go ahead and get the routing done anyways ;).
