I just replaced the 59b in my Strat with a CC I received today from stratomaster. The CC and the PGn sound like they were made for each other. Beautiful and smooth sounding both clean and distorted. Our bassplayer and drummer could even hear the difference! I also put nickel covers on both (to cover the fact that the PGn was white but had been "magic markered".) The CC really fills out the midrange when distorted and let me play just a little louder tonight with out the icepick treble of the 59b. Also impressed when palm muting, the CC sounds perfect. The 59b is very bassy and I'd have to mute it "just right" to make it sound good. Very satisfied with this setup, think I've found a keeper set!
