if you're gonna age the finish, take the yellow(oange?) finish. If not ,go with the blue.
btw,are you gonna age it?
hehe... actually, XSSCIVE recommended the opposite...
in any case, I'm not having a relic body unless it's a naturally old body, or someone's gotten to it before me... couldn't bring myself to "relic" a new guitar. I just just prefer letting it happen naturally...
Anyways... the whole idea for the reliced orange/yellow comp stripe guitar came from a really sexy old Mustang Bass I saw... But I'm not sure reliccing for the sake of it is my cup of tea.
So I've pretty much decided on the orange yellow when I build a strat... it's a lonely side, but I wouldn't pick any other!
I did do a bit of retooling on kisekae and came up with some variants... I like this one
I've always like sharkfin inlays (a holdover from my days as a Rick worshipping bass player

). Understood they're a bit hard to see on the maple, but I've been trying to ease myself off of looking at the inlays to tell where I am... and when I do grab for the inlays, I usually look at the side fretboard one's instead... I think it's a nice subtle effect I got going...
I also figure a bit on the trem seeing as the trem on my Jag (ANY Jag) is borderline useless for anything other than a warble, and my other 2 guitars are hardtails.
And enter the blindcaster!!!
thanks for all the interest
