SSL-1, but you're gonna have to replace those buckers too, if you want "that classic strat sound". You'd probably be more apt to get it with the 59 than the JB, but then again IMO you'd have to split it. Give it a go. Good luck.

Darrin's right. If you want the REAL 50's/60's Strat sound you have to use real single coils...like the SSL-1. Minihumbuckers like the Little 59 and JB JR. are cool, but they have thier own thing going for them. Lew

I would say Duckbucker, it'll be hum free then (And SD sells a JBjr/DB/Lil 59 set)

Personally, I'd go for another Little 59 and forget about the guitar sounding like a 50's Strat. Lew
