Strat Pickup in Tele.. BG1400.. Clean Plexi Tone

Stevo

Tonus Maximus Pacificas
This tele has a strat hot stack in the neck position and a custom shop bg1400 in the bridge position. This tune is all clean with a melancholy feel.. kinda drony.

Very nice Stevo, your plexi sure have an amazing clean tone. Very well done as always, this is hold news. You're a pro man! :)

Your drums are always so good, did you actually bought a package or use a particular drum software or hardware? I was looking for Acid drum loops on the net, there are dozens of packages, some of which are pretty bad. You seems to be able to create an entire drum track with fills and what not. I'm really looking for something that would make my drums sound more professional.

Very nice Stevo, how would you describe the sound of the BG1400? How versitile is it, with 30+k is it hard to match it to the neck? Do you have anymore clips? Is it hum canceling? Sorry for so many questions, but this pup is something of a mystery. I know that Billy Gibbons uses one but want to know more. Thanks!

Re: Strat Pickup in Tele.. BG1400.. Clean Plexi Tone

i liked the tune, really nice playing :)

please don't kill me but i didnt really like the tone that much

Re: Strat Pickup in Tele.. BG1400.. Clean Plexi Tone

Hey Curly Point Conception is soooo do-able.. I have a visual :)

Sly_D I have the cheap version of ACID 2 and I got "drum tools" by the drummer for Roxette, and "Working Man's Bass" by Rudy Sarzo. I use a lot of one-shots too.

JM the 30k of the bg1400 is deceiving because it is not actually high output. The output power is very similar to that of a regular tele bridge pickup.
It is stacked, therefore noiseless. It has a glassy tone to it. It would work fine for country but I think it's more suited for twangy rock. I really like it because it sounds more full than other bridge pickups that I have had in this guitar. It does not have that annoying sharp edge that you can get with other tele pickups also.
Here are a couple more tunes with this guitar:

Thanks for listening guys :)

Hey nuntius, no offense taken. I have done gobs of clips and I like to diversify :)

Re: Strat Pickup in Tele.. BG1400.. Clean Plexi Tone

Great tone and playing as usual, Stevo. The one thing I enjoy about your clips is the diversity of your playing. Very good!!
