Strat Pickups - Series Mod Help

I want to rewire my guitar so that I can run the bridge+middle and the middle+neck in series, like say selector positions 2/4 be series, instead of parallel.

How do I go about wiring this without adding another switch to my guitar? Also, with this mod, I'd also like to move the middle tone pot to the bridge pickup; if that would help describe the wiring at all.

by the way, I did look at the SD wiring diagrams, but they all included a switch.

I don't see any way possible to this with a standard 5-way, but you could do it with a Superswitch. It would keep the stock appearance of the guitar, but there's no way to get around buying more "stuff".

On my standard 5-way, I wouldn't mind losing positions 2,3,4 if I had to. The middle pickup sounds bland. I don't care for 2+4s parallel.

Ok, I can get this, so far:

1. neck & middle (series)
2. neck
3. neck
4. neck & bridge
5. bridge

I just hate having that neck-only position twice. :blackeye:
