Strat players, your turn

Re: Strat players, your turn

Thanks for the comments on the relic guys. I went through about 200 pics of real relics and used what I liked. That was the first pic I took w/ my dads digicam out at the lake where we go fishing. If anyone wants some work done, you know where to find me :D

Re: Strat players, your turn

This one is for Y2Stevo...I don't see him around much anymore. Sometimes you don't realize what a kick a$$ guitar you have until you sell it. :blackeye:

That's a Demon in the bidge (500K pots)

Re: Strat players, your turn

I have 2 Strats right now...

the first one is a Black 2004 Jimmy Vaughan with the following changes...

-W/B/W/Tortoise 8 hole guardplate
-Custom Shop Duncans, Alnico 2 magnets based on Antiguity I Texas Hots with a few tweaks that I wanted, the bridge it tapped, and they have Antiquity covers
-cream knobs (all the cream looks amazing on the Tortoise guardplate!)
-All new pots, and switch with cloth wire throughout
-Strat locks

the other one is a 1988 3 colour burst MIJ '68 Reissue (although it's really much closer to a 67)

-It's lefty, flipped over and set up righty
-Currently has the pickups and electronics from the JV Strat until I decide what Im gonna do to this one

Re: Strat players, your turn

One of my holy grail guitars:

Mahogany body, beautifully flamed maple top. Maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Loaded with WCR SR single coils and a Darkburst humbucker bridge. Originally installed a blender pot (just disengaged it). Looking forward to putting in a Harmonic Design Z90 in the bridge for more of the P90 flavor like my RI0 Gibson

Re: Strat players, your turn

This is my Jimmie Vaughan Strat that I just bought back in February or so.

Re: Strat players, your turn

Here's my Oly White Jimmie Vaugh sig. All stock except for the aged white covers and knobs. Just did the 50s wiring mod to it and it sounds even better than it did before!

Re: Strat players, your turn

I technically have another "strat" but it's not a Fender so I guess it's not really a strat, so I don't post it...besides I rarely play it and I don't have any pics available and I'm too lazy/tired to go andtake some shots
