Strat QP

I played a Fender Ritchie Blackmore Strat. Loved the sound of the bridge pickup... wide, singing tone.... not too shrill at all.

Has anyone played the SSL-4 and the SSL-7? What are the tonal differences?

My friend traded 'em out in his strat. I played it on several occasions, and I'd have to say, I prefer the staggerd. It kept a little bit more of the stratiness I love.

How was the low end response? Was it pretty balanced, or did it get woofy?

Very well balanced. it wasnt muddy at all. But, I loved the bass end. One of the very few strat bridge pickups I would acutally put into use in a live situation.
