Strat- Single Coils to accompany SH-6

Hello,

I'm new to the forum.
I just put an SH-6 in the bridge position of my strat, love it.

Looking for single coils for the neck and middle to match the output level but retain the single coil sound, no hum would be great.

A reverse middle would be nice.
Quarter Pounder in the neck?

Thanks,

SSL-5/6 are a good match for the custom, distortion, JB and Dimarzio Super Distortion.

Just curious, why do people worry about matching outputs with humbuckers and single coils. I have an Sh-6 in my strat and when I'm in a Metal mood I play the bridge. When I wanna play the blues I switch it to the single coils. Two different worlds. Anyway a great single coil is the SSL-1 but it wont match the output.

I hear ya.'
But, to switch pickups within a song, it's nice if the output levels are similar.

If you're looking for hum-canceling. I have also paired the JB, Distortion, Super Distortion and Custom with the JB jr, Little 59, Duckbucker and Dimarzio Virtual Vintage 2.1. The JB jr is a great neck position shredder that still has a little single coil spank. The Little 59 is smooth and fat in the neck position. The little 59 can do clean chords and singing lead lines, although it's not really a shredder. The Duckbucker and Virtual Vintage make good middle position pickups and the Virtual Vintage also works well in the neck position. The Virtual Vintage is brighter and tighter than most single coils, but it still has that strat spank and sparkle.
