Strat spring squeek

on my strat in the back one of the springs squeek when i use the trem arm any tips to stop this? It was fine before i took it to the shop to get new PU;s installed.

PS: should i use oil should I take the spring out spray than reinstall or spray right to the back?

Bro,

I would first make sure that the springs are installed/seated properly. This could've been messed up when the strings were removed for the pickup change.

If they're in there correctly, I myself take very thin pieces of shop cloth and run them inside the springs to stop sympathetic ringing. This has always worked for me very well.

If you do spray, take the spring out.
