Strat trem setup

Hello all,
I have an American Special Stratocaster with a Wilkinsin V100 trem and it seems like whatever adjustment I make the g string goes sharp when I use the trem.

I have tried having the aft of the bridge 1/8" out from the body (everything stayed in tune that was except for the G, but the trem arm was practically sitting on the vol knob), tried having the aft of the bridge almost touching the body and heights in between.

I have installed a trem stopper in the cavity and I'm using 2 springs. The trem stopper improved the stability quite a bit. I'm not doing dive bombs or the like.

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance,

I usually lube the nut every time I string change or when I think it needs it, that's about it. I'll try some lube as it's been awhile.

Thanks

The g string is a common problem with all guitars

could be the string tree
Or the nut
Or the bridge
Or the string

That string is binding at some point. Graphtec tree would help if it's binding there. Otherwise, it's at the nut.

I was having this same problem recently after I installed a trem-stop and cranked the claw down. Removed the trem-stop, readjusted the claw, and the problem is gone. Go figure. Trems are weird.
