Strat troubles!

This is my first post and if its off topic I am very sorry. I have an 84 Squier Strat that I put a set of Fender custom shop Texas specials in. The problem is that the bridge pickup sounds fine but the neck and middle are really bassey, to the point that changing from the bridge pu to anything else rattles the speakers in my amp unless I turn the bass way down and then the bridge pu is useless. Is there any way to tone down the middle and neck pu to get a more balanced sound? Thanks lexx9

Welcome,lexx9

Ya' have to lower them -- this brightens them up -- and lowers the volume. and removes the bass--

basicially
UP = More bass and volume
DOWN = brighter and less volume
