Strat truss rod quiestion (probly really simple)

hey guys i have my action set up right, but when i play the 7th fret on my 3rd string (and alot of others this ones is the worst) i get buzz up near the higher frets, and i think i diddnt set up mmy truss rod right. I mean i did it to the specs they have on the fender website. which way do i need to adjustr the truss rod clockwise, or counter-clockwise? thanks

Looking down at the trussrod from the headstock, turn counter clockwise.

Most truss rods are like nuts and bolts. Lefty-loosey - Righty-tighty.
