I have a Fender Stratocaster where I placed Hot Rails in the bridge, Vintage Rails in the middle, and Cool Rails in the neck.
For the wiring, I used he standard wiring for each pickup. 5 way switch, just that.
HR and CR red and white soldered together and tappered off. Green and bare to the back of the pot, and black wire to the switch.
VR I followed the manual, red and black to hot, rest to the ground (if my memory serves correctly).
Individually the 3 pickups sound good, but position 2 and 4 are dominated by the VR, to the point that the difference is so subtle that it is difficult to say. This surprised me because I expected the CR or HR to dominate, since they are way hotter pickups, but no.
I wonder if there's anything wrong with my wiring. Or if this is sounding as expected.
