String question, need an advice

So, i have just got new guitar LTD H 1000 Deluxe with Floyd Rose tremolo system. i am not very experienced with the Floyd Rose tremolos, this is the first one i have it now ! but for comparision, i have got the Les Paul guitar on which i have 10-46 string gauge in standard e tuning and i am ok with that. so which one should i put on if i want to set that LTD guitar in E flat tuning ? i use Ernie Ball strings.

I have another question.. about droping from e flat standard down to drop c# tuning.. is there any option to do that between playing the songs, like i used to do with Les Paul guitar ? if not i think, i am just gonna have Les Paul for drop c# tuning and LTD in E flat tuning .

If you want a similar tension as the 10-46 set, then look into an 11-49 set. Or actually try a 10-46 set on your ltd. The longer scale length tends to increase tension, but if you're going down to e flat the differences might even out and feel the same as you LP with 10-46s in standard

Also for dropping the low e-flat to a c#, get an evh d-tuna

i recently tried ernie ball beefy slinky 11-54 and it is superb for Drop-C. Anything lower than that, and it gets pretty sloppy.

I think i am gonna try 10-48 set and tune to E flat. but it will be nice if i know which strings are factory ones, they feel like 9-42 and they are a bit too lose for me. i must ask the manufacturer about that. thanks
