Has anyone tried this? I've been thinking about changing to coated Elixir and D'Addario's EXP strings to try too eek some more life out of the damn things, but apparently this stuff does the same trick - anyone tried it?

Re: Stringlife

currently using it. like it because:

*lengthens string life
*doesn't affect feel

was using GHS' Fast Fret before this which has residue getting in the way.

Re: Stringlife

I tried the coated strings and hated the way they feel, but I would give this a try. I am not unhappy with the string life I get though. I played my Tele at rehearsal last night and the strings on this guitar were on for over 6 months.!!! I guess I should be happy with that.

I agree about the coated strings. The Elixers I've tried on a Strat just felt like they weren't able to vibrate freely and completely. Like they were weighted down just a tiny bit. Didn't like 'em. Lew

Re: Stringlife

i really like the DR black beauties but havent been able to get them for a while now because my local shop doesnt have em in 11's for a while now plus they are kinda expensive,im definetly(spl?) going to try this out.

Re: Stringlife

I'm a little confused.... I thought that "Stringlife" was a DR product but apparently this isn't? In fact I have a poster DR sent me that has "DR Stringlife" on it. Weird.
