Succumbing to G.A.S.

Well I finally did it. I was looking for musical inspiration and what better way to do that than to buy new gear!!!
I've been going on and on about getting a new amp, well I finally pulled the trigger on a Mesa Boogie Mark IV. Ebay is a wonderful thing!!!
FedEx can't get to my place soon enough. I haven't felt this giddy since I saw my first nudie mag.
In anycase, let the rockin begin!!!
Thanks to everyone who put up with and gave information about my wandering tube amp questions!!!!
You guys/gals RULE!!!

I had a love/hate relationship with the Mark IV. I used to have a short head, and I always regretted selling it. I could get pretty much any tone I wanted outta that thing.

I'm interested to see how this one sounds.
It has the Black Shadow speaker, also the owner replaced the outer tubes with the EL34's for that Brit sound..... I dunno if I'll change it back to stock or not. I'm sure i'll have tons of fun tweakin for days/weeks.
As far as selling your old short head I hear you there it always pains me to sell gear. In fact I have to sell my LIL musicman 212 to help defray the cost of the Boogie.

congrats .. i'd love one of those some day .. all those things to twiddle with .. i'd be in heaven for months finding tons of useful tones ... same with a triaxis setup ...

It's here It's here!!!! My Mark MFing IV is here!!
I don't even want to finish up this Friday at work. I have already ruined my keyboard with drool!!!
Another bonus about the Mark IV is my so heavy my girlfriend can't even lift it.
4 hours and counting untill BLAST OFF!!! :dance:
