Sounds like something to look into. How many Korean P-90 models do they have?

They have 3 or 4.

SE Soapbar = Singlecut, solid body, two P90s
SE One = Singlecut, solid body, one P90s
SE Soapbar II = Doublecut, solid body, two P90s
SE Custom Semi-Hollow Soapbar = Doublecut, semi-hollow body, two P90s

I wanted really bad to like these two guitars... but they just didn't do it for me. They play nice, and the P90s are alright... but I could never get over the deformed Les Paul look.

Dunno if anyone mentioned it, but there is an LTD, I believe it's a PB or HB 500, and it has P-rails in it. Pretty sweet looking.

my problem exactly. somethin about Paul's designs just don't work for me...the contours are never where i'd want them.

The PRS SE models are the way to go. I have played all of the soapbar equipped models in their line, and they all rocked my socks off.

My favorite, at this point in time, is the SE One. It's so simple, so rocking. I hear they will be available in white soon, with a black guard and pickup.

If you have a bit of extra cash, the SG classic is a nice choice also.

I played one of these last year. If it had been a lefty I would have bought it then and there. It was a phenomenally good guitar for the money.

If this is true, I may have to buy one. Replacing the black guard with a tortoise shell one would make the deal even sweeter.

^^ It shows on their website that white is a color available on this model.

Anyways, those semi hollows are wicked also. The last one I saw at the local store had such a nice translucent finished mahogany neck, that from the back I thought it was an american model. Amazing grain and work.

P-90s will help make almost any guitar sound good. They've got a great resonance peak, they're clean, there's nothing NOT to love about them. If I were to suggest, I'd recommend a Les Paul Junior or an SG.

More for me! The Singlecut shape along with the arched top and belly contour makes it feel comfortable and perfect for me --- suckers!!! The contours are remarkably right for me!

The PRS Singlecut shape is very sexy.

Some dude - those Lp's look amazing! I'd like to play one, since I've always wanted a LP but feel I'm not bonding with my Epi LP. It looks like those with the P90's have a thinner body which might work better for me.

Jolly - nice SG juniors! I took a listen to your clips with of the SG with P90's and now I want one twice as much as I did before. Rockin' clips man!
