Hey guys. I am getting some really great tones out of the JCM 800 model, Fender Tweed 410 and Black face models. I am still tweaking the Soldano model and I feel like it has a really fizzy/buzzy sound, any suggestions to get rid of this buzzy tone? I've heard clips of people playing the Soldano model and make it sound a hell of a lot better than what I am doing.

Also, which inputs do you guys use for your guitars? Which would have more clarity for humbuckers what not? First amp I have owned with 2 inputs...

Sweet amp man, i love the amount of tones available. I've had the same problem with the Soldano model, always too fuzzy. Could never get a decent tone out of the Mesa model either. For more clarity i go into the 'low gain' input.

On higher gain amps keep the VR gain around I believe 40 to 60. It seems there are alot of post on the net and this is what most say todo. Good Luck

Stratdeluxer might help you out there..

I also realized it is a high gain models and high gain amps in general always have more of a buzzy tone than other amps. When I get the amp cranked it tends to go away a little more and I am sure it would be lost in the mix of a band. I'll keep tweaking the preamp gain and OD pedals to see if that helps out anymore.

To help with the high gain models fizzyness, you need to get an EQ in the effects loop. That's what I've heard about how to dial in the high gain models. I have a stereo EQ that I haven't used yet, but I'm gonna try it fo sho one-o-these days. :cool2: :scratchch
