Suggestions for a neck-thru swamp ash/walnut top body guitar

Hi folks,

I'm looking for suggestions on a pickup combo (neck and bridge humbuckers) that will help me tame the brightness of a neck-thru swamp ash/walnut top chambered body guitar. The neck is maple as well the fingerboard. I mainly play 80's metal, hard rock and melodic instrumental/fusion music. For amplification switch between a Friedman BE 100 and also a Kemper Profiling Amp (use various high gain amp models).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a 25.5", 25" or 24.75" scale guitar? How many frets (21, 22, 24 or something else)?

The guitar has a 25.5 scale and has 24 frets.
