Suhr HSS Wiring Diagram 1 vol 1 tone, please help!

I used the Suhr HSS wiring diagram seen here:

I have the singles "seeing" 250k and the humbucker "seeing" 500k (middle single and humbucker split; single seeing 25k0 and humbucker still seeing 500k). Everything sounds good EXCEPT I have no taper on my tone control, it's either on or off a little below the mid-way point. I even had it double checked by a very well respected guitar tech in my area and we're both stumped. Can someone help me figure out what's going on with the tone? I really need this fixed. Thanks!

What you have described is characteristic of a linear taper tone pot. With the treble bleed circuit, both pots should be audio taper, usually marked A500K (volume) and A250K (tone).

Buckers normally uses 250k total resistance (500k volume + 500k tone in parallel wiring). For HSS guitars a resistor mod eventually saves the day.

First thanks for the replies guys. I may have figured it out though. The guitar is left handed and has right handed pots but wired to function lefty. My tech said that may affect the taper of the pots so I ordered some lefty pots and will keep this thread updated for future reference.
