So...i finally got a decent drum software to mess with and decided to record a song...Its influenced directly by this 2 songs: Steve Vai's Bangkok and Scorpions Sails of Sharon...what they have in common?? THEY ARE MID EASTERN SOUNDING!! So its like...mid-eastern hard rock-metal :D

I dont have a bass, but feel free to add it if you want.

Please commment on this, since its my first original with drums!

okay ,some important points.
Normally a drummer allways uses the bass drum or the snare for "filling" the bottom of the cymbal .So hitting crash/splash/chinas without a bassdrum bottom or snare sounds hars and thin!
It's really old school thrash ,wich is great.:D
If you want to learn more about eastern sounding metal ,check my myspace :D
that's the way I allways play!

Oh and check some "death"...Chuck was a master too!
I dig those sitar sounds....great stuff!

I like the concept. Nice tones, all around.
Drums need work. Seems a bit disconnected.

Thanks man, could you explain more about the drums?? Maybe too many "drum riffs" instead of just keeping the rhythm thats what you mean??

A bass line might help your percussion work.Give the song[recording] more definition.
I Like the song.

Sort of.

Nothing wrong with drum fills, but there were places where the drums either stopped completely (IMO-inexplicably) or otherwise did not fit the groove of the rest of the music. Needs more consistency. Perhaps, as GoldenVulture has suggested, the bass could be the glue that ties your guitar and drum ideas together more cohesively. Keep working on it. This has potential.

Good work.

Sounds pretty cool to me mate! I agree with the other guys, a prominent bass line would be helpful.
It DOES sound a bit disjointed, but that's to be expected as you get to grips with the software and stuff.
It'd be really cool to hear the song with a full band playing it.

Thumbs up from me, I like it a lot!

Thanks dude, the problem is that i dont have a bass!

Buy one! I bought the cheapest one I could find on eBay and it works just fine for what you're needing. Steve Harris wouldn't take a leak on it, but for a backing track it does the job.
