Sunbursts, care to show them off?

I have to admit that I am a sucker for the many flavours of sunburst.

Here are mine:

The Tele Custom has Dimarzios...I think they are the true velvets
The Les Paul has a set of Whole Lotta Humbuckers
The Kotzen Tele has an Area T in the front and a Chopper T in the back
The Anderson has VA12 in the front and middle and a VA23 in the back
The Gadow has Fralins
The Chapman has 2 Duncan YJMs and a Duncan Custom Custom in the back

Turns out both my sunbursts are Fenders.

When I was around 12 years old, I got a Fender catalog and read it cover-to-cover, over and over. (That was the first time I had seen the word "humbucking," pertaining to the Wide Range pickup). I remember looking at all the finish options that were available and thinking to myself, "When you can choose sunburst, why would you even offer those other colors."

At that time, those other colours would have been black, white, natural, semi-transparent blonde and "Mr. Hanky" brown.

My fretless P bass from that era is yellow/red/black. My bandmate's 76/77 Strat is tobacco sunburst.

This is my unassuming 1999 MIM Strat. Once I added those blade pickups, it was like dropping a corvette engine in a Saturn. I also changed the frets to Jumbo Frets and it makes her just an amazing player. Right now she is my most played and most versatile guitar. I can't believe what a great trade it turned out to be. I traded an Ibanez Artcore for my Strat with a Fender OHSC.
