Sunn solid state bass amps?

I knew of the Coliseum, and the 1200S, but haven't had any direct contact with the solid-state models. Opinions for bass? I'm looking at durability/reliability, power and suitability with modern cabs (4-10s reflex with tweeters, stacked with an 18 or twin 15s). Are the vintage chasers driving the prices up?

yeah. The Stoner/Doom crowd is driving the price up of Sunn solid State. 2000S is one of the vintage 60's flagship tube Sunn of about 100 watts-very expensive, and the Coloseum line is 70's solid State Sunn gear.
Sunn is pretty popular stuff and sought after. Youre gonna pay a premium for the Sunn Coloseum, Concert and the Sunn Beta solid state stuff .Guitar or bass- doesnt mattere too much cause guitarists are using all Sunn equipment for bass as well as guitar.Youre going to pay 300-400.00 in good shape for these heads and combo amps. Very well built reliable and great sounding solid state gear.
Like old Kustom solid state vinyl amps,there remains strong interest in it.
