I think it sounds great. Nice to hear you did your own solo vs. copying Clapton's note-for-note. I would venture to say that your tone is actually cleaner than Clapton's -- at least the rhythm part -- but that doesn't take anything away from the track. You've got your own tone...nice.

Where did you get the backing track?

One suggestion, get the bass guitar level higher. I can't hear Jack. ;)

ErikH, since it's a backing I don't have the bass on a seperate track. But I'll try to bring it up with EQing tomorrow.

Your rhythm tone is definatly cleaner than claptons(No Fuzz) But great recording man.

AWESOME! Other then raising the level of the bass it was perfect! And the solo was cool too. When I play the solo I improv it a bit with the riffs Clapton used in the original solo, but it sounds better improv'd a bit. And your solo was perfect for it, since I always thought to original solo was a bit slow, but yours was at a perfect pace and sounded good to boot. Nice job!

I've updated the song now... EQed the backing track, hope it raised the bass at least a little. :)

Very nice. It sounds much fuller. The bass is there more, about as good as it can get with those backing tracks. You did a good job on that song.
