my brian moore is kinda 'super'- i got that since i wanted a stat shaped lightweight guitar with an internal synth pickup, with duncans already installed.

Well I had a Dean EVO custom as my first electric. It had P90s but I wanted to go to humbuckers. At the time I was listening to a lot of instrumental stuff. Satch, Vai, Petrucci and Malmsteen. I noticed a lot of the big shots using Ibanez and wondered why they loved those guitars so much. Went to a shop and tried out an RG1570, JEM and JS1000BP. Needless to say, I took home the JS. That guitar can do anything.

My second favorite is now my ESP Mirage Custom from 1988. Incredible worksmanship, but new pups wouldnt hurt it and they'll be in their soon.

All guitar can sound incredible, but super strats I think are the most versatile. Especialy my Satriani. From blues to metal with jazz in between.

I've owned my share of superstrats over the years, but right now the only superstrat of mine that's getting any play is my 88 USA Hamer Chaparral. This thing plays like buttah.

back to our scheduled program:
dont have a full axe shot on the comp ATM
no neck pickup and i think it wont have one for a while.. no more stickers either.. need to find beter ones, the old ones got worn off .. and i need to polish the frets, just to see if there will be any improvement.. and clean & oil the fretboard

i have a couple Brian Moores...

i really like the "nothing is sacred" approach that superstrat makers take... they're not afraid to try out new technologies or even combine various characteristics of more "standard" models...

then there's always the versatility...
