Hi guys! Still trying to raise a few bucks to make ends meet. Here's a real nice Supro Lap Steel.

If you've been wanting to get into lap steel these old Supros are among the very, very best. Strong, high output pickup and great tone.

This one features the Ry Cooder pickup. Ry took one of these old lap steels apart and put the whole bridge/pickup/controls unit in his favorite Stratocaster!

I just put this one on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400085873745&_trkparms=tab=Selling

Man I wish I had the scratch!!! I love these things, as well as the early Fender and Gibsons. For a short time (about a week) I had a '48 Fender lap steel that was friggin' sweet. That thing just growled.

is the amp included?

Yes - for an additional 10K! :lmao: In other words: no! ;)

That amp, like my '54 Tele, will be available upon my passing - but not a minute before! :)

I've got a couple of those old Fenders, Dustin. Got a 1940's K&F and an early 50's Fender Champion with 50's Tele knobs and the original pickup that is almost identical to a Broadcaster pickup.

I'll probably sell those too. I don't play 'em. I like the Supros better than either.

I tend to play my other Supro (I have two) and my '36 Rickenbacher Bakelite lap steel. The Ricky is another one I'll never part with.

But the stuff I just collectted and don't play? It's all gotta go.
