Sustain question

Im planing on putting on two alnico 2 pickups and one alnico 5 pickup in my guitar. Would an alnico 5 magnet negate the the low string pull of the alinco 2's and result in sustain a guitar with all alnico 5 pickups would have?

You have to remember it is a cumulative effect, that's why a guitar why say a strat with two APS' and one Hot will not have as much string pull as 1 APS, and 2 Hots, or 3 hots. To put it simpler and in a math form.

A2 has string pull of 3
A5 string pull of 5

3+3+5=11

Whereas

3+5+5=13

11 is never greater than 13.

This is over simplified and assuming that all things are equal. Pup heights, same magnet style (staggered, flat, polpiece, studs, etc) Remember an A2 pup 1/16" from a string will have more pull than an A5 3/16" away. Once again, all other things being equal.
