sustainers anyone? possably the greatest thing EVER!

i have come across a gizmo called a sustainer, basicly it is a little thing that looks like a pickup but is actualy a little magnet thing that "exites" the strings in a feedback styley causing notes to sustain infinatly! cool or wat!

iv only herd of these things and was wonderin if anyone has one and could tell me more about them.

basicly; are they any good? can u fit them 2 regular guitars? how much for? where do i get hold of one from?

yeah they're good, and stop posting about the same thing so much

yeah, they're good. thats what Vai has on "flow" along with a lace sensor single coil in neck position. it's also in the phil collen signature jackson guitar. pretty damn cool if you ask me!

The general principle is identical, the E-bow is just hand held

AT least I think it is, I know there are electro-acoustic and electro-magnetic sustainers, IIRC the E-bow and Sustainiac are both electro-magnetic....

1. If you can find a single insult in this thread, I´ll pay you 5 dollars. The closest thing to an Insult is YOUR "fooools" :evil:

2. 2 semi-off topic posts form the people giving you advice are nothing to scream about. I could understand it if the thread were hijacked, but we are far from it.

It´s just as easy for us NOT to post at all, particularly when it´s on a thread by somebody who has already started to earn a reputation for asking the same question multiple times.I think you are in no position whatsoever to make statements like that one, shred me good.

I´m not mad or anything, but I seriously recommend that you calm down a bit. Think more, post less but more meaningful.
