Sustainiac in an Ltd elite horizon 3

I am planning to have a full shred trembucker and a sustainiac neck installed in my Ltd. Anyone have exceptional experience with the sustainiac? I'm not an electronically savvy fellow and I'm not sure what action to take to get this thing going. I need a shot at prices should I not do anything myself, and also I have a push pull volume pot and a tone and a 3 way toggle. I know I'll need a new route for the battery if I'm not mistaken, but can I get by without adding toggles? I'd like to use the tone knob for my volume and ditch my tone knob altogether. I know I need an on/off for the unit and a selector for pups. And also an obvious volume.

Anyone with ideas or knowledge willing to share would be greatly appreciated.

I own a Jackson DK2S Dinky, and as you probably figured, the S means it came with a Sustainiac. The version it came with has the two metal pieces that are spilt in the middle diagonally.

If you get the same version, you will need the toggles, one turns the Sustainiac on and off (maybe you could use the push/pull for this, but I don't know how it would need to be wired), and the other is a 3 way toggle that swithches between Sustain, Sustain with Feedback, and Feedback (I actually end up using the feedback by it's self more than the other two). Also, since you're planning on not using your tone knob, you could use that hole for the Sustainiac's level control (it lets you dial in how intense the sustain/feedback effect is, another very handy thing.

Which exact model of Sustainiac?

On some models, the connection between the neck position pickup/induction unit and the PCB is made using a plastic block connector. Before attempting anything else, offer the block connector through the cable channels in the body.
