Came across these amps called Swamp Donkey, went to their site watched a few demos interesting, has any of the forum members here tried one or own one?

Friedman names his amps after things straight men want to have sex with. I don't want anything to do with a donkey in a swamp but I'm not here to judge.

Usually you get what you pay for. They have some very good testimonies. Personally I wouldn't give any feedback of any kind positive or negative until I tried one out.

I don’t really care for the name, but the tone is the most important factor.
I don’t find them aesthetically pleasing at all.
And the prices are IMO pretty ridiculous.

They are out of Alberta, Canada. The prices are probably Cad. So the 3 grand amp is more like$ 42.84 American or something like that.
Oh I figured I recognized that name before... If you need industrial water service there is a Swamp Donkey out of B.C.

Ok, I’m on board now....lol

But TBH, I’m not a fan of all these “retro” comeback guitars and amps.
Now everybody that has a 60’s Eko, thinks that because it’s old it’s worth a fortune.
Reverb is full of these postings.
