That would indicate that the screw coil is backwards somehow. For the sake of clarity, redo one step for me, if you don't mind. Place the red meter lead on the red wire, and the black meter lead on the green wire. Place the screwdriver against the screws. When you yank it away, does the meter go negative or positive?
So... I followed those steps and here are the results:
Black (+) and White (-) = 3.93k --> Studs
Red (-) and Green (+) = 3.93k --> Screws
What should I do now?
