swineshead pups?

So has anyone heard of these? I came across them on the sevenstring.org and they offer pups in the carvin route size, which is what caught my attention. They do some cool things, like wood covers and whatnot, but I have not idea how they sound.

There aren't any for the 7 strings, which are the ones I'd be interested in. The ones I did hear sounded crappy, like they used a cheap amp.

I just wanted to know if anyone here had/has any experience with swineshead, b/c I've never heard of them before. They're kinda pricey tho, so unless they're AMAZING, I'm likely getting some blackouts. This is really a feeler thread more than anything.
