Switch series/parallel humbucker and coil taping switch

I was hoping somebody could show me a circuit that lets me wire a hb to chose with pickup to tap on or off. Have one on,have the other on, or have both on like a hb and then another circuit that lets me chose when the hb is in series and parallel determined by what position a switch was in. Any ideas?

I'm not sure that I understand the specifics of your request. There are a myriad of ways to split humbuckers and/or put them in parallel.

Describe to me the entire setup you're looking for (pickup selector switch, switches for coil splitting and parallel, number of volumes and tones) and I'll do my best to help you figure it out.

Oh yeah... and how many pickups are we talking about?

Are you talking splitting the pickups....as in turning one of the coils off???
Or a tap, where there is a wire coming out in the middle of one coil for a lower output option

'Tap' gets mixed up with 'split' or 'cut', but they actually mean very different things.

Tap= winding a pickup (single coil), adding an output wire, and then winding some more, and adding another output wire. So you have 2 sounds out of 1 pickup.
Cut or Split= Turning 1 coil of a humbucker off. You also get 2 sounds out of 1 pickup.

Etham. Your request is a bit vague in that you do not say how many pots you have (to use as push pulls) or whether you are prepared to fit additional mini switches. I assume we are talking about a guitar with 2 Humbuckers.

I suspect the easiest way is to fit 2 mini on-on-on switches which will give independent parallel/series/ coil cut for each pup (see pic )

Artie added a single push pull to the circuit to also give virtual humbuckers by coil swapping. This gives all sorts of variations. See 2nd pic but beware of blue lines which are to show circuit path. You can get slug coil of one pup in parallel with with the screw coil of the other while the other coils are in series.

If you want something cool you can add an additional push pull to Artie's masterpiece to put pups in both series and OOP. This will give you an all singing all dancing set up but it may take you a while to easily remember what everything does.

Hope this gives you something to think about
