The ones I've worked on seem to be nice for the money - but if you want a good guitar, it will need a setup and new pickups at the least. First thing I would do if it was mine, install a new Switchcraft jack.

It's kind of a given that what ever I ever buy gets tweaked, some guitars have surprised me by 9nly needing a setup. But I was wondering about the build quality.
 
The current offerings seem to be inexpensive Fender copies.

They used to make one called a Zero, really cool superstrat with a long bottom horn and 27 frets.
