Taj Mahal anyone?

I cancelled the other thread abou tTaj Mahal but was urged to put it up again. So here it goes:

I heard his first two albums yesterday for the first time and was "floored." What other albums can I find some great guitar work, both acoustic and electric...

Anyone know anything about the gear he uses/used?

I saw Taj a few years back in a small hall and he provided a night of really great music. I believe that Taj is presently a endorser of Epiphone.

An interesting bit of trivia: in the mid-60's Taj was in an L.A. band by the name of The Rising Sons....with Ry Cooder.
