Take The "A" Train

Re: Take The "A" Train

Nice vibe to it. My wife said it sounded cool, and if she likes something, then it's gotta be good (And I won't dare disagree) ;)

Re: Take The "A" Train

Was the melody part overdubbed? Actually a little hard to tell, which I would count as a compliment to your playing.

Re: Take The "A" Train

that was nice - i like your tone - very authentic sounding to me ... warm and simple ... i got the sense that i was listening to something recorded a long time ago (in a good way)

as for the playing, yeah, you had some tasty ideas going on .... it seemed as though a couple of times you played your passing notes a bit early which took away frmo the suspend and release effect you could have created

the rhythm playing was nice too - very steady ... you really seem to have found a groove in your last few recordings

keep it up!!

alright thanks for the pointers, I'll work on the passing notes thing

like i said earlier, I just plugged my duo-sonic straight into the USB interface and adjust the tone control accordingly
