Talk about Straps.

I use the $5 Ernie Ball straps. They're 2" wide nylon with leather-esque ends. I have black on everything but my G&L, which has red.
Me, too. Straps are one bit of gear where I definitely go ghetto but that's just because I don't much care. The EB straps work fine for me so I don't worry about 'em.

One of these day's, I might suggest an upmarket strap to my wife as a potential Christmas present or something but at the moment I'm quite happy with my straps costing less than my straplocks. ;)

Re: Talk about Straps.

My first strap: Gibson. Why? Because of the lightning bolt. I now use it on acoustics.

Next: Dunlop Double D. Why? It's really long and comfy. I use it on my strat w/ dunlop strap locks.

Now: Ernie Ball. Why? It's cheap, long, and amazing. I use it on my LP.

Re: Talk about Straps.

I used to have leather straps but I hated how they'd get hung up...on all my guitars now, I use a 2" nylon strap, some ernie ball, some dunlop...I don't find them to dig in at all, and I like how easy they slide on the shoulder.

Re: Talk about Straps.

I'm not picky about straps the only problem I have is most of 'em are too long for me.

In any thread about straps, I'm obliged to post a pic. :laugh2:
