Re: Talk Me Down From This Egnater

I'm sure Bruce could have designed it as a channel switcher if he wanted to. There's very likely a big tonal difference between wiring them so you can switch between them and wiring them so you can't.

It doesn't really bother me though, I'll just think of it as two different amps.

To venture a couple guesses, it may work like the high / low inputs on a master volume Marshall. On those amps, plugging into both inputs results in them both being low gain. OTOH it may be like the clean / crunch switch on a Soldano SLO. They state that this cannot be foot-switchable, and it's obvious why if you switch from clean to crunch without changing settings. In crunch mode the amp is MUCH LOUDER to the point that it will just about blow you across the room when the controls are set for clean mode. This isn't a problem with the Decatone/X88 which have a dedicated volume for the crunch channel.

Re: Talk Me Down From This Egnater

Nah, I'm just lucky enough to have a job that pays me a damn fine wage.

And that's not even counting the custom guitar I've got coming next month or the H9, volume pedal, or the pedal power I just bought, or even the pedalboard interface I'm getting...

Lots of stuff for me this summer.

IT'S HERE

But I'm at work, and when I get home my friend will be at work. So I can't pick it up until tomorrow afternoon. I have the sads.
