Ok so i run a dual amp setup, with both on all the time. Right now i dont have too many pedals, but the more i see them the more i want more... So i saw this http://www.voodoolab.com/switcher.htm which is what i think i would need to switch the pedals (duh) and then i saw this too http://www.voodoolab.com/commander.htm
so here is the idea i have. i always run my Line 6 Flextone II HD strait from my wah to the amp, and the Alamo Tube combo with a dirt box or whatever. (basically the tube amp gets the effects). But when i switch channels on the Line 6 i also have to step on a pedal for the alamo... its not really a problem now, but i think once i start getting more effects it will make things a hassle. I would run the wah and splitter before the pedal switcher sending one line direct and the other into the pedal switcher to the Alamo.
The best way i can think to solve this is use the pedal switcher to switch effects via the commander, and use the midi switching feature to switch channels on the Line 6 as though it were a rack effect.
Would this work or am i missing somthing?
